The director of the fort, Mr. Karni Singh said that the fort is a popular destination for shooting because of its beauty and grandeur.   • Shakti: The Power (2002)

Directed by Krishna Vamsi and loaded with a powerful cast of Karisma Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Sanjay Kapoor, Jai Gidwani, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepti Naval, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, this movie was shot at the Khejarla Fort near Jodhpur. The fort was constructed in the 16th century by Maharaja Gopal Das who was granted fiefdom of the region by Maharaja of Jodhpur.
