Situated close to the Indi-Pak Border, it is believed that this place was saved untouched even during the bombings of 1971. The locals worship Tanot Mata and consider her responsible for their protection during the war such that not a single person died in the village even after heavy bombings in the area.

You can reach Jaisalmer by Train or by Cars. However, there is no airport in Jaisalmer, so no direct flights are available to this place. Though, one can take a flight to Jodhpur and then travel 300kms via car or bus to reach Jaisalmer.
