Gulab Sagar Talab In Jodhpur is a water storage facility built in 1788 by Gulab Rai, Maharaja Vijay Singh’s mistress. Previously, the area was inhabited by another water source known as ‘Bawri,’ which was turned into Gulab Sagar Jodhpur. The measurement of the Gulab Sagar Lake is 150x90m and it took almost 8 years to complete the construction of the entire lake. Water is supplied to the lake through a canal flowing from Bal Samand Lake. There are many attractive places near to the Gulab Sagar Lake. One of the most attractive places near to the lake includes the Kunjebehari temple. The Kunjebehari temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna.
